Will Spotify Beat Clubhouse with their new app?

Spotify has launched its first social audio app called Greenroom, coming as major competition with Clubhouse's invite only application, released in late 2020. The begging question is, will Spotify overtake Clubhouse app? I do not know the answer yet!

MAJOR treat to Clubhouse, the social audio based app

People are curious whether Greenroom will beat Clubhouse's popularity since its heavy release. For most podcast and music lovers, we have been actively using Spotify product to listen to and create audio content for years.

Spotify Greenroom App

According to Spotify, Greenroom is a new social audio app created by Spotify that allows you to host and participate in live discussions. Through virtual rooms you can listen and talk about things that matter to you, whether it's music, sports or culture.

Those whose are familiar with Clubhouse will find that Greenroom is generally similar. The only difference is that you are able to record your audio and use it on your podcast. As a podcaster myself, that's a major win for Spotify. I am GAME!
