In a powerful and inspiring move, the CEE Toronto Executive Director, Agapi Gessesse, and their dedicated team recently appeared on CTV National to shed light on their remarkable initiative, "Black Youth Can," co-created in partnership with Publicis Groupe Canada. This campaign not only addresses the prevailing hiring biases in Canada but also serves as a platform for empowering Black youth to speak up and celebrate their achievements. Together, they are breaking down barriers and showcasing the vibrant talents of Black youth, one hoodie at a time

The heart of this initiative lies in the campaign titled "WHO I REALLY AM." It employs custom-designed hoodies, proudly worn by real CEE alumni, as a canvas for sharing their individual stories, passions, and successes. These hoodies transcend mere clothing; they become potent wearable résumés that challenge and overturn the stereotypes frequently associated with the attire of Black youth.
