It's a new month and new vibe around here. We are currently getting ready for the spring season to announce some major news.
Plus, this week we are celebrating our International Women Days as a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. What a better way to honour the success of many powerful women in history both past and current ones.
Celebrating women who had the confident to help forge a pathway for a diverse new generation of entertainment, education, politics, humanitarian efforts.
We are honoured to have a very special surprise guest feature on NEECEE LEXY blog help us with this incredible day celebration. She is the 2019 Face of Lexynelle Reveur, Fashion model, an intelligent political Science major grad, makeup artist, and beauty queen. She is yours truly miss Kayah Minz from Montreal, Quebec.
We excited have Kayah Minz with us today on NEECEE LEXY to share her personal journey in discovering her strengthen and experience in the fashion industry. Please let us welcome miss Kayah Minz.
Tell us about yourself ( short bio)
My name is Rukayah Amin. I am 26 years old from Montreal.
When did you start modelling?
I started modelling seriously when I was 22 years old.

Who inspired your modeling career?
I was in a very dark space in my life where I could have been 6 feet under, and writing, modeling and makeup were my only outlet to discover myself. My cousin won her first beauty pageant and it gave me the kick to discover myself as a woman and as a human.
What is your go to fashion tips?
I will say casual but still a catch to the eye. Its not always evident to glam up, and i do have a very tomboy/grunge side, so it’s always nice to tune into that. Sometimes the simplest things can be the greatest catch.

What is your favourite (s) runway experience(s) and why?
IMFDF 2015. It was my first time stepping into the runway, so I had alot of help to perfect my walk and “swag”. Alot of people that I met actually are the ones that helped me to be where I am today. Not to mention I actually walked on a moving cruise. That was alot of fun and interesting.
As a professional model what area in the fashion industry you think receive little attention but deserves more?
I will say average/realistic girls(or men). I feel like as a society we are so focused on the two extremes (plus sized and skinny girls) that we forget that there are girls like me who have a lil belly, tatted to the 9th heaven and still shop at ardene or forever 21. The fashion industry goes beyond haute couture and the like.

Are you currently working on any modelling projects that we should watch out for it? .
Yes! I have a few under my modelling projects under my belt plus a YouTube channel that I am building. My goal is to also expand myself as an entrepreneur and showcase my talent. Not only as a model but also as a makeup artist. I have an eye for beauty, and very much want to show the world that you can turn anything beautiful, if not more.
What can we expect from you in the next 2 years or so?
Hopefully my own makeup school or to at least have a hand in the beauty world. Let’s hope my pretty face is on a billboard.

Who are other talented designers or entrepreneurs, influencers, and directors you would hope to collaborate with?
My dream would be to model and work for Iman’s makeup line. She is to me the epitome of beauty, and it will be an honor to work for her. Pat Mcgrath, Black Opal, Fenty and obviously the influencer Jackie Aina are on the top list.
