Blogs alone aren't good for improving your business or website SEO. It's key to develop brand authority for people who are looking for insightful information on specific topics. You are essentially catering to your clients' buyer journey via Customer Relationship Management systems. You can read more on CRM on my previous post.
In this post, you will learn how to create stellar blog images like a professional. Some of these will require you to download FREE apps/software or create an account. If you love my social media images and content and would like to see how I develop them, make sure to read the rest.
ADOBE PHOTO EDITOR FOR PROFESSIONALS
LIGHT ROOM
This is Adobe Suite software designed for photographers or content creators to edit images. It has similar functionality to Photoshop. If you're looking for beginner-friendly photos, you can go here.
PHOTOSHOP
This is by far, the most self explanatory image editing software tool that most people know about. I taught myself how to use this software and have been using this for over 10 years. It might be a little difficult to do advanced editing for beginners. However, there are video tutorials on Youtube you can watch to track your learning faster. I recommend Photoshop if you're looking to do advance level editing, modification or implementation to images.
BEGINNER FRIENDLY
There are many beginner-friendly apps and software programs out there to help you edit your blog images. Below are a list of few programs you can download today to get started. These image editors can help you edit photos with simple actions, such as saturation, contrast, exposure, perspective, and spot removal.
CANVA
If you are not a graphic designer, I highly recommend this web-based photo editing software. I have been using this for several years. It has reduced my editing time by 70% and gives similar results to Photoshop when creating overlay text, thumbnails, photo filter adjustment, and much more.
If you do not want to invest in Adobe photoshop or Light Room, Canva is your answer. It's free to use but some requirements for premium asset may apply. However, you can do great work even with free basic features.
PAINT NET
Another beginner friendly photo editing tool is Paint.NET. According to research, this image editor tool was created by Washington State University students as a replacement for Microsoft Paint. I personally used Microsoft paint, as it was my initial introduction to digital image editing and graphic design tools few years ago. It's available on Desktop only for Windows users.
OTHER USER FRIENDLY online Photo editing tools
FOTOR
Similar to Canva, this web based photo editing has all the functions necessary for editing. Other related image editor online programs similar to Fotor are BeFunky and InPixio.
GIMP:
GNU Image Manipulation Program is one the best free photo editor for advanced image editing and open-source
IMAGE PLACEMENT
When you are writing your blog post, try to pick one image to be the introductory image which relates to the main topic of the post you are going to speak on. Thereafter, include sideline images of between paragraphs to have connection with your sub-headlines. This helps to break down the content and makes it easier to read.
